“I never leave this kind of review. Booked this house for a funeral. Host refused to let us have 4 of deceased family for dinner. 8 total people in a 3 bedroom house. All over 50yrs old. Max allowed was 6. "Rules are rules" is basically what we were told. Ok fine we thought. The family asked us to stay an additional day so host said its available and use the app for pricing. We did that, got a price of $164.00 extra, sent request to host. Host denied the request and said that due to a "glitch" it would be $316.00 instead. That was unacceptable so we contacted AirBnB who tried to reason with this host. They wouldn't budge so we decided to not stay at this house. It was nonrefundable so we lost money but didn't cancel so I could at least leave a review. AirBnB was kind enough to give us a coupon for another house. AirBnB was great and did everything they could. Don't expect this host to be accommodating or understanding. They just want your $.”

“We had a terrible experience with this property. After driving 5 hours and arriving at 11pm with small children, our names weren’t even on the list at the welcome center. We had a confirmation email that it was all set 6 hours prior. Security then informed us that, even if that was fixed, we couldn’t enter because the homeowner hadn’t paid their fees. We were completely stranded. The owner never responded, the Vacasa team was useless, and Airbnb ultimately canceled our reservation without offering any assistance, that we were getting refunded in 10 business days. Having to book hotel rooms that costed us $2300. Absolutely unacceptable, would not recommend.”

“I recently stayed at this Airbnb in the Poconos, PA, and overall it was a beautiful experience. The house itself was very nice, with spacious rooms, a clean and modern kitchen, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The location was peaceful and perfect for a fun getaway, making it easy to enjoy the area and all it had to offer. The only downside was that there were quite a few bees/wasps inside the house, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. Aside from that, everything else about the stay was enjoyable and memorable. Would definitely visit again!”
