“Not stellar experience here. Major points for location and views being beautiful, but everything else was rough. Horrible urine smell when we checked in at night, we immediately let host know but didn't hear back until next day. We also found beetles (NOT BED BUGS) in one of the beds, most of the pots and pans were dirty so we had to wash everything before cooking, and floors were pretty grimy, I'm not talking sand, I'm talking pet hair and dried food. Unfortunately having a corporate host it was a challenge to connect with the right people. Too many different numbers and contact info. When we did connect with the local manager she was very helpful and apologetic to the problems. We won't be back here. But if you do choose to stay here make sure you budget extra for all the runs to the store of candles, febreeze and basic kitchen tools like a sharp knife.”

“Our time at this cottage was restorative for my wife and me. We had lovely sunny weather on Friday, then fog came in for the rest of the weekend. However, as we are both readers, we had books with us. We also played a game for Couples called Tales that made us think about our history and generated more than a few laughs. The only slight drawback was that the cottage was a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos; however, it gave us the room we needed to unwind.”

“This is a lovely home with a nice open layout, and a spectacular view. We loved the easy proximity to the beach and the ample seating area in the living space with all the big windows looking out to the ocean. The house was well stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals, and we appreciated the attention to detail in the kitchen. The main bedroom is nice and spacious, but does have a slight musty smell. It wasn’t too noticeable, though. We were unable to use the gas fireplace because there was no remote for it, but if that can be located, I think it would make a very cozy cottage for those cooler nights.”

“Pros: The home is directly on the beach with easy access and a large yard. Great for kids and families with pets. The hot tub was nice and the glass fenced back patio with fire pit and table was a wonderful place to enjoy meals and s’mores! Cons: The house is not very clean or well maintained. It has not had a deep clean in a while. The primary bed was very uncomfortable, you could hear and feel the springs lying down. The management company is difficult to deal with. I asked for extra dishwasher pods since I was given 2 for four nights and they were broken, I was told I had to purchase anything not provided. Finally the relented and dropped off more. 4pm check in and 10am checkout. I would not stay again.”
