“would absolutely stay here again. the private walk down to the river and the great big room of windows was my favorite. hot tub was clean and very enjoyable.”

“Frustrating experience here. The first night the heat wasn’t working. It was too late to have someone come out, so slept under lots of blankets. The next day someone came at 8 am and we didn’t know they were coming. They fixed the heat, so that was good. That day we found mice in the house only to realize there were mouse droppings all over the place - we hadn’t realized at first because it’s a cabin and the droppings are small. We left early because we felt very uncomfortable and afraid of possible disease and food contamination. We understand that these things happen but when we reached out for a refund, they offered just the night we left. We were surprised based on our experience and issues. I say it was a great value for the money because we reached out to Airbnb and they made us whole. We still had to pay the cleaning fee, taxes, etc. but were reimbursed the price of the rooms. It’s a lovely cabin and area if they can take care of these issues.”

“Small and convenient”

“I’m surprised that this location has so many five star reviews. Not many express the metallic smell of the water, which is INTENSE and stays with you after you shower. I ended up buying my own water to drink and brush my teeth with because the smell was so so strong. Additionally, you have to enter the home with a very long lock code every time, and there is no key for you (at least no clear instructions on where to find a key). The houses are very close by and a lot of them have rusted car parts and other debris around. It doesnt feel like a comfortable place to hang around in. Additionally, there are labels for the cleaners EVERYWHERE and theyre not present in the listing pictures. The visual pollution of these labels take away from any serenity that may have been achieved in this location. Everything just kind of felt like an old relative’s house that they haven’t updated since the 50s and are having trouble taking care of. I would not stay again, and was disappointed throughout.”

“The river so close was amazing. Everything was clean and comfortable. I needed a break and this was perfect. I would make a suggestion. If you want the garbage taken to the curb it would be helpful if it were on wheels.”
