The pictures of the home look fantastic. The place is even better. Super nice. All the amenities. Master Bedroom Shower has a steam button that is really special. The location is even better. It is far enough off the road to have no noise. You are in the Pacific Northwest Rain Forest. Think lush, moss-draped Douglas fir/hemlock forest. We walked through it directly from the home every day. The area obviously is home to many beautiful hikes and waterfalls. Pretty sure we are going back next summer.

A surreal stay at this beautiful creekside cabin. The pictures don’t do justice to the tranquility and comfort this place can offer. Absolutely worth a booking!

Overall, we had a good stay. The house was clean, the property was quiet, and it was a great setup for kids and dogs. We were especially grateful for the extra refrigerator in the garage. The biggest disappointment was that the hot tub, sauna, & heat were out of service. The hot tub was the main reason we chose this property, and we weren’t informed it wasn’t working until after we had already booked. Had we known beforehand, we would have chosen a different rental. The heater in the house also didn’t work, so it was pretty cold inside throughout our stay, even though the weather outside was nice. The only reliable heat source was the wood-burning fireplace, which made us a bit nervous with two toddlers in the house. One other thing to note is that if you’re staying in the downstairs bedroom, you can hear nearly everything happening upstairs, so light sleepers may want to keep that in mind.

Our stay was overall great. The house is very clean and modern. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when staying here: - It is not private at all. It’s on a surprisingly busy corner. - The hot tub is about 10 feet from the road so you will get trucks and vans slowing down to look at you while you’re in there. - Quiet hours start at 10pm, but you will get notified at 9pm that you’re being too loud. - The dog next door barks 24/7. - They provide 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom which doesn’t last long with 12 guests. - There was no dishwasher detergent. We asked but got no reply. - The “outdoor shower” is just a random shower head on the side of the house near a hose. - Bunks are not suitable for adults or older kids. - You can hear the river, but there is no way to access it or even see it from the house. Again, overall we had a great time but I would have liked to know these things.
