We loved the location and the cabin itself. Unfortunately, the dishes in the kitchen were dirty nearly every time we grabbed a new one. We also cleaned rodent droppings off of multiple surfaces. The downstairs bedroom also had a crusty stain on the sheets that came off in the wash.

Was a great stay! Beautiful view. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect for couples. I would not have brought my children.

The pool in the photos is seasonal, summer only. Not very secluded and the tv is in a really weird place. Cabin was great, bed was great, and hot tub was great. Lots of places to walk and hike around. Had a great time 😊

The listing was very misleading. The photos make it look like you’re renting the entire house, and the description mentioning a “main house in front” made me assume the Airbnb was a separate guest cabin or loft. What they don’t clearly explain is that the house in the photos is actually divided, and you’re only renting one side of it. There’s even a door inside that’s sealed off leading to the other part of the house. When we arrived, there was a paint stain upstairs, the upstairs bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and we found Fireball candy wrappers in a drawer and underneath the bed, which made it obvious the place wasn’t cleaned very thoroughly. The WiFi was also terrible. They use a very cheap router, and the connection constantly cut in and out during our entire stay. The worst part was the carpenter ants. Within only 2 nights, me and my friend had to kill over 10 ants INSIDE the cabin. For the price, that’s completely unacceptable. The listing feels falsely advertised!

We waiting almost 2 hours, in rain and cold temperatures, with 2 small children (3 & 5 - and our 5 year old is special needs) because we couldn’t get in. We called not once, not twice, not three times, but 4 before we got ahold of someone who eventually helped us. The smart lock code was not working, the key from the lock box was also not working, and we had driven 4 hours and confirmed the house was ready. I also contacted Airbnb support who also could not get ahold of the host. It was such a shitty experience and it left me wanting to scream. This house is in the middle of the woods, which means poor phone service - upgrade your damn WiFi to reach the front porch so you don’t leave families stranded trying to get ahold of your property management company that you outsource overseas. For how much this property costs - having top tier property management should be a no brainer… I’ve worked in hospitality and customer service my entire professional existence - this was inexcusable.
