“The house is as presented online. A perfect spot to settle in and see the sights, restaurants and view the ocean. House is great & I would stay there again. Loved access to the beach & the deck to just sit and enjoy the ocean sounds”

“The location in Otter Rock was very nice with a great view and beach access just a short walk away. We had initial issues because the listing described amenities that were not there. Also, the floor was dirty and the dishes in the cabinets were not clean. The hosting company graciously refunded the cleaning fee. The house inside is dated and set up a bit weird but nothing terrible. The view and the location were worth the price but the house and the cleanliness were not. Also, the options for cooking in the kitchen were sparse. Broken bowls. A few pans. We'd stay again if the house got some modern updates to the kitchen because the view was so beautiful. Otherwise we'd look for something different. The rental agency was responsive and accommodating. No slight on them but the house needs some work.”

“Fantastic view! Doesn’t get better than this on the Oregon coast. We watched a beautiful moon—with a glowing Venus by its side— sink slowly into the glistening ocean on a couple of nights. They were framed perfectly by the trees. The house was smaller than anticipated and, with too much furniture, was actually a trip hazard for this 79 year old woman. Also, the “beach access“ was too dangerous for people of our age to contemplate. Younger, more agile family members had a good time, however. The location was great, between Depoe Bay and Newport, allowing us to access shopping, restaurants and activities as needed while staying out of the tourist mainstream.”
