“The place looked a little more enticing on the ad then In person. The place was clean and had plenty of extras for cooking in the pantry and spice cabinet. However the place got extremely warm during the day even in the end of September with cloudy days. Half of the upstairs deck surrounding the hot tub and outside seating was crumbling and rather concerning to walk across. The jetted tub in the main bath was not in working order and did not hold water with the provided drain plug. This was a huge disappointment as it was a large selling point for my group considering we were looking forward to leisure after camping for a week. The hot tub worked great but was under-filled, some instructions on how the jets work would’ve been nice. There was an excessive chore list, lots of signs and notes that made my group and myself feel a bit unwelcome, not to mention the symphony of non stop barking dogs surrounding the building every time we went outside. For the money, I’d recommend elsewhere.”

“This condo at Neskowin had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. However, the fact that the door lock code did not work (although it was pretty quickly remedied via message in AirBnb app) and that the cleanliness was subpar (lots of hair and sand on the floor, a used bandaid stuck in the shower, gritty feeling rug in the living room) make me give it an overall 3.5-4 star rating. Being an AirBnB host myself, I'm pretty sensitive to the cleanliness aspect.”

“The house is amazing. The owners are constantly watching you through the cameras and the neighbors are continuously stepping outside checking on what you are doing at the house. Very little to no privacy at this home. Would not recommend!”

“Neskowin is my favorite place on the coast, and I always enjoy staying at Proposal Rock Inn. This was my first time in this unit. The space has been tastefully updated. This is hands down the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at an Air BNB. The linens were all clean and comfortable. The kitchen is reasonably stocked. You may want to bring your own toiletries, as the ones provided are pretty basic. This unit doesn't have a view. Hawk Creek sits right below it, but being on the third floor you can't really see it unless you stand at the rail. It is also on the north end of the complex, so you will hear/see more people than if you were further south. Also note check out time is 10am, and as the listing says, there isn't any coffee provided. Neskowin Provisions has amazing coffee, pastries and sandwiches, so you will be well taken care of! Overall, would return and would recommend!”

“Everything was wonderful about this place. It reminds me of grandma’s cabin on the beach! Nostalgic and cozy. I did not like having to communicate with an AI bot for communication. There’s no response to a real question and I find that hard to work with when you’re on vacation and have real concerns. Besides that excellent place for the price.”
