“The cabin matched our expectations: a rustic setting within walking distance of the Sandy River, which was a lovely feature of the stay. A few notes for future guests and the host: • The lighting took a little time to figure out at first, but was manageable after that. • The cabin itself was comfortable and generally in good condition. • The guest-room mattress was quite soft and noticeably sagged in the middle, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, we enjoyed the cabin and its location. Addressing the guest-room mattress and providing a little more guidance about the lighting would make the experience even better.”

“The cabin was just as described. Peaceful and private despite having neighbors. The Sandy River was enjoyable and the nearby trails were great to hike. The cabin was clean, but could have been a little cleaner though. The window ledges inside were covered in dead bugs and cobwebs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.”

“Will not rent this property again. Hot tub was not working and bedding was not clean. Company didn’t not try to fix any of the issues and was difficult to communicate with. After several days, we did finally receive a small refund. Definitely not worth the amount we paid to stay at this property.”

“Great spot to see Mount Hood, the surrounding area and the tons of hikes & activities. Worth buying some basics like dish washer tablets and toilet roll as that only give you a very small amount, not enough for your stay which is a bit of a shame.”

“We liked the place, and it was very nice. The problems were with Avari. They failed to give me the location and the access code to the lock box. I had to call them several times to get the info.”
