Very child friendly/baby friendly. Had some issues with messes - the sheets needed to be changed when we checked in, and the oven was unusable due to it needing to be cleaned. But besides that we really liked staying here

"The owner has reported seeing a small white dog at the property on camera." We were ready to spend our weekend near manzanita and received this little gem of a note that blew up our weekend. The house rules do state no pets, but it is not clearly displayed for all the drama this caused. Not to mention there is a binder at the house which says "Rules for pets" and a large framed picture of the owner's (?) dog upstairs. We went out fishing for the day and did not have cell service and came home to my phone, Airbnb app, text, and voicemail all overflowing with messages to GET THE DOG OUT RIGHT NOW. We found a Rover nearby. But after hearing that the owner is watching you on camera (and not at all happy about what they see!) it's really hard to have a relaxing time. The place is far from the town, not really walkable to the beach, and we paid $700+ per night to get spied on and have to go get a Rover as well. There are lots of other good rentals in Manzanita. Skip this one.

We wanted to love this place but there were many large spiders and a constant stream of ants inside the house. The kitchen was not very well equipped and there were windows left open with no screen and cobwebs in corners of rooms. Creaky doors and doors that won’t shut completely were frustrating to say the least. Will not stay here again.

First & most important you can not see your children playing on the beach. The walk down to the beach is nice but it was very hard to get back up . Very steep not welcoming at all. Beautiful home not sad about it at all.

This cabin is in a great location in Manzanita and a good size for a small group or family. Beds were very comfortable, and kitchen had what we needed to cook meals at the house, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Unfortunately one of the beds (couch) was made but the sheets were dirty, and the listing bedrooms/beds were changed after we booked and we were not notified (bedroom with bunk beds shown when we booked and was turned into a closet space — which worked well for us but was a surprise!). PS leftover beach toys/shovels are in the shed by parking spots. We found it on our last morning and wish we had known sooner!
