Listen, location is great, walkable to the beach. The house is clean, perfect size, and organized. My biggest issue is that the home states it has air conditioning which I used in my search field to compare like homes. When we go to the home, it was on a warm day (nice for the beach! ) which caused the home to be uncomfortably warm. I immediately reached out using the email here on Airbnb asking where the air conditioning was as we couldn't find the unit on the wall. I got a reply that someone would reach out to me to help but no one called me. We spent the first night there sweating our night away with the sheets pulled off of us. Not the best experience at all when we could have chosen a similar location, similar price, with the air conditioning that was promised. Need to remove "air conditioning" from list of amenities and change pricing to reflect this. Or remedy the situation immediately with a portable unit or offer refund. None of which took place.

It's a house that is big (5 bedrooms) but also manages to feel cozy. Great location and views--BUT the big windows that give you the view have no shades, so the dining room and living room become unbearably hot on a sunny day by mid-afternoon (and this was the end of May!) Otherwise it's a fine house.

Calm and quiet. Roomy. There was a lot of dust on the objects up high. We loved eating out on the deck. I was able to easily make dinner.

The house was in a great location, quite, walkable to the beach and to the stores and restaurants in Manzanita. General comment: all basic needs were met but there were some minor problems. Pluses within the house: - roomy living room and nice deck space - basic, with little clutter - lots of towels, beach toys for kids Minuses: - spotty internet (we didn't bother asking Avari to fix it because we ended up using our own hot spots) - bathrooms did not all have shampoo and shower curtain kept falling off in the downstairs bathroom. - ran out of hot water by the 3rd or 4th person (it was still warm but not hot) - Furniture was broken (kitchen chairs and dining table), couches have seen their days as well but were functional. - kitchen small but functional (2 people fit at a time). - funky old house smell on the first floor that needed to be aired out.
