“Overall this was a lovely location and we enjoyed our time on the lake. The house had all the space we needed and we spent a lot of time outside on the deck. Really appreciated that this location has a flat yard for dogs to run around. Considering the high cost of this rental, there are a few areas I would recommend improving for future guests: - Deep clean: The floors, surfaces, and linens were clean but the place could use a more thorough cleaning (spider webs in windows, tv remote very dirty/grimy, etc). - Limited basic amenities/toiletries: We stayed for six nights, and that should be taken into consideration when providing things like paper towels, dishwasher pods, trash bags, and toilet paper. We had to go out and buy additional items. - Gazebo safety: I would caution against people being allowed in the gazebo until the deck support is brought up to code, it was very concerning when we saw how it was constructed and feels unsteady with the weight of multiple adults.”

“We had a great weekend up at Wallowa Lake. Definitely putting this place on our list to come back to. Bonus for our visit, the renters in the lower duplex were musicians and we sat out with them and listened to Bluegrass all evening.”

“The location is great and the place inside was clean, although it needs some maintenance. The floor is very slanted toward the very small bathroom. The water pump and water heater are in the bathroom and super loud. The outside deck and deck furniture were not clean at all. There was only one coffee mug and one wine glass. Other dishes and pots and pans were adequate. There were no filters for the coffee maker . We only saw two towels and did not find the other towels until we were leaving. Had sent a message the night we arrived asking about towels and coffee filters and received a message right away that the local people would get back to us and I never heard anything back. The bed squeaks and creaks every time you move. It is WAY overpriced for a tiny cabin that needs some work.”

“Given incorect access code. No cell signal, had to go to nearby store and borrow phone. Slopeing floors were interesting. Ovefall dnjoyed stay and location was good. Weather was great”
