“The place was beautiful and looked like the photos, but it was also fairly grimy feeling. The carpet in particular was coated with dirt and other debris. One of the upstairs rooms had a strong musty smell. They also use what seems to be an automated text system for communication, which just couldn't get details right. They texted me probably 5 or 6 times before check in with various links and codes, all of which did not ultimately work. The housekeeper ended up letting me in the front door and gave me the correct code and I had to call for the outer gate code when I got stranded outside the neighborhood. Neskowin is a really lovely place so you can't go wrong there, but I probably wouldn't choose this house again.”
