“View/location great. Kitchen poorly supplied- dirty utensils in drawer. Large picture fell off bathroom wall at 2:00am. Woke me up. Just balanced on nail, not hung. Terrible night sleep because of it :(”airbnb

“The cabin is cute, and homey, and I would stay there again if it were cheaper. But for the price, I am not sure it was worth it. We had some notable issues that made the stay less enjoyable for us. 1. wifi kept crashing throughout the trip 2. pictures of the backyard fail to show the giant home being built 50 feet from the back door 3. They only left us 1 extra roll of toilet paper and 1 extra role of paper towels and 1 extra garbage bag 4. The neighbors got after us for walking around and enjoying the neighborhood and made us feel un-welcome 5. The hosts were watching us on the outdoor camera and counting how many people we had at the Airbnb and that made us feel un-easy all together 6. No working air conditioning, so upstairs get's really hot during the day and at night Overall, for the price, I would not stay here again.”airbnb

“Was exactly as pictured. Not really a “Motel” person, but it looks/seems like it was large corp bought and renovated. Perfect for single person or a couple. Was near by for everything that we wanted to do. Had ice trays which were great. Bathroom a little tiny for both of us to get ready at same time. An additional mirror would be nice, and luggage racks or something more in the bedroom for our stuff to go on. could have done without a flood ton of messages for before my stay and for reviews post stay. Overall great place, would stay again.”airbnb

“Cascadia Getaway was difficult to work with and not accommodating when we were dealing with an emergency. We will not be booking with this company again.”airbnb

“I made a reservation through Airbnb and Cascadia Getaways was the host-they did not refund my reservation despite fire air quality alerts and temperature alerts in the area I had made the reservation with my dog. Cascadia Getaways got the full amount they took from me of $512. At least Airbnb refunded me $300. Never again.”airbnb

“Upon arrival, we were unable to enter the property because the PIN provided for the front door was incorrect. Once inside, we looked around the upstairs and then went downstairs, where I saw a large black rat. I contacted the 24/7 support line right away to report the issue and request assistance. After 15 min The response I received was that they believed the “little visitor” was actually a ground squirrel and explained that, due to local regulations, their pest control company could not remove ground squirrels because they require a wildlife specialist using live traps. I was extremely frustrated because no one had come to the property to verify what the animal actually was. They simply assumed it was a ground squirrel. In addition to the rat, there were rat poo upstairs & wood dust around the door frame. There were used QTips in the drawer and paper scraps in the pantry area. We ended up going to a hotel. The guy called us back to stay, but with rat poop around, unsanitary!”airbnb

“The place was beautiful and looked like the photos, but it was also fairly grimy feeling. The carpet in particular was coated with dirt and other debris. One of the upstairs rooms had a strong musty smell. They also use what seems to be an automated text system for communication, which just couldn't get details right. They texted me probably 5 or 6 times before check in with various links and codes, all of which did not ultimately work. The housekeeper ended up letting me in the front door and gave me the correct code and I had to call for the outer gate code when I got stranded outside the neighborhood. Neskowin is a really lovely place so you can't go wrong there, but I probably wouldn't choose this house again.”airbnb

“This place would be great if they weren’t under construction. They don’t inform you until after you book and it is nonrefundable so you are stuck.”airbnb

“I wouldn’t reserve this place until they get their act together. This is a company run place that’s run by a small service desk, who provide a lot of lip service with not much authority to remedy problems during the stay. We discovered that the guest shower had significant mold in it, and we did not feel safe to use it. They shouldn’t rent this place until they fix it, it’s very unhealthy. Later we discovered filthy washer, badly stained mats in the kitchen, and scratched up pan, not to mention heavy remodeling outside!!! After complaining, hours later they offered us another location but it was 7 miles north of where we wanted and had no ocean view. Also, it was late at night after 12 hours driving and we were exhausted and already settled in. They finally offered us 20% refund, but it was not nearly enough given the quality of our stay. I would not book this place, if quality of stay is important to you.”airbnb

“There were some nice touches - tea towels, salt & pepper, etc. but so many of the basics were wrong that you wonder if the owners have ever stayed the night. - My room was yards from a very busy road with traffic noise throughout the night. Earplugs and a white noise machine were provided in the room, so noise is clearly an issue. Why no mention of this when booking?. - Venetian blinds on the bedroom window barely kept any light out. I ended up hanging my pillow cases at the window to try to block it out. - A large bathroom with the smallest shower cubicle I’ve ever encountered. It was impossible to wash without opening the shower door. I’m slim, I doubt that anyone much larger than me would have got in it - A bed on casters with no headboard. Whenever you sat up in it, it slowly rolled into the room whilst you slid down the wall. I stayed in 4 other similarly priced places during the week, all of which were excellent. This was very poor by comparison. I wouldn’t return.”airbnb
