“This little place was perfect for our needs. We had multiple wedding related events in Cascade Locks and the location was unbeatable. The house was clean, uncluttered, with nice and simple furnishings. Love the shipping container house...a bit industrial looking on the outside but you would never know you're inside of two combined containers from the inside. Overall a very functional little home.”

“Ventilation issues. We walked into the unit to what smelled like dead fish. In reviewing the listing a couple of times, there is not AC, which would be fine most of the time in this area, except for when the house needs help in being ventilated. We did call Avari twice to speak to someone about this, but the local team they were to contact never reached out. We could tell that whoever was a part of the local team did know of the smell prior to our check-in because of the large fan that was put in the living room area and was running upon check-in. We realized by day two that the prior renters had pets that clearly left a residual smell in the place, which explained the smell, but also made us question how well they cleaned the house. Otherwise, with the exception of the basement shower missing the sliding door, the house was very nice, in good shape, and has a great view of the Columbia River and mountains on the Washington side. Large back deck to take this view in from too.”

“We let the management know the dish washer is not working last year and it is still not working this time. I hope that can be fixed.”
