“It was a lovely location, quiet and an easy walk to the beach. Big enough for 4 couples comfortably. However one room is attached to the garage and there is no bathroom. You must come into the main house for bathroom use. It has great potential but the upkeep needs work. Overall, it served its purpose; which was a place to stay while we enjoyed our time in Oregon.”

“Main front window needs to be replaced- there is some pattern of ? mold and or condensation which greatly decreases visibility and pleasure. The dryer was broken which we didn’t know until we arrived. We were reimbursed $150 for the inconvenience.”

“We really loved the place. It was as advertised. The house was very clean, and kitchen well stocked with dishes and cookware. There were plenty of blankets and towels as well. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The beach was just a short walk down the street with easy access. It was very steep to get down to the beach so would not be good for people with mobility issues. We contacted them the night we arrived as we were having problems with turning the fireplace on and there were not curtains on the downstairs bedroom windows. We did find a little sign on the bottom corner of the fireplace on how to turn it on. The did text back the next day and ask if we had figured out how to turn on the fireplace but never addressed the no curtains on the basement windows in the bedroom. I would rent this home again as it was very nice and comfortable with lots of space for different activities.”

“For the price we paid I expected a very well maintained home. It needs work. Rusty Windows. Dishwasher falling apart. The walkway for additional parking was overgrown. We didn't have enough towels. Front door very sketchy, I could kick it open with no problem, didn't make me feel safe. The perfect thing was the view.”

“This is a hard review to write. The location is good and views are extraordinary. The hard part is the smell. I was hit with a very musty/moldy smell when I walked in. I like cabins and rustic environments and unterstand that sometimes comes with being right by the ocean. My cousin wasn't bothered by the smell, and we were there for her birthday, so I made do. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, and the smell grew worse. The 1st floor smelled like animal urine. The room's flooring had been torn up, and the subfloor was painted over. The stench was unbelievably bad. I almost left immediately. I felt sick the next morning reacting to the smells, but if I kept my door shut and cracked the window, I could keep my room air ok. We were gone most all of the day & everything else was fine. We stayed because my cousin wasn't bothered by it, and I didn't want to spoil her birthday. But if you're sensitive to smells, this is not the place for you.”
