“It is a space above a home so you will hear them and they will hear you. Overall it was okay but I would definitely go somewhere else if it works. There was a bunch of spiderwebs/dust in general and I’m assuming everything has only ever been surface level clean. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortable and loud. Even going to lay down made a lot of noise. There was also the issue of the heating. It wasn’t super bad and honestly the home holds a lot of heat throughout the day but not knowing about the broken heater until like 1 week before our trip was not okay. Especially since communication was slow and we got no real confirmation on anything until the day before. This should be in the listing at this point. Based on previous reviews this is the problem they aren’t willing to fix. Save yourself the hassle.”

“Home needs some work I understand we rented a pet friendly home but smelled like old wet dog probably should remove the carpet also kitchen had a big hole in the floor cover by a floor mat and the beds up stairs could use some need mattress, great neighbor hood”

“I'll start off by saying that this airbnb was amazingly located and being 2 blocks from the beach and walkable to town was really convenient. However, we had some issues with communication with the hosts - they mentioned they'd stop by with fans after we checked in and the home was set at 91 degrees with no way to cool down the home and we had a pregnant guest with us. They never came by until the 3rd day of our stay which made sleeping really uncomfortable. Also the house is definitely older and could be maintained a bit better - you can tell the carpet is old and has absorbed a lot of sand / dirt / dust throughout its lifetime. Overall, the stay was fine for location but would not rebook.”

“This is an affordable, quiet, pleasant place to stay very near the beach. It has a comfortable bed, lots of windows. IT’S FINE TO STAY HERE UNLESS YOU NEED HEAT. Other reviews in June 2026 and in March 2026 also mentioned there was no heat during their stay. The rental company said in response to the March 2026 review: “our maintenance team is working hard to repair the living room heater” but that is not true, because there was no heat when I rented this place in June 2026. Three days before I was scheduled to arrive, the rental agency sent me a message saying “we are working hard to repair the heater, but it will not be available for your stay.” Since I was due to arrive in Cannon Beach in 3 days, it was not possible to find another affordable rental for my vacation dates. I think it is unethical to keep renting this apartment which has no heat, and waiting until the last minute to tell the renter there is no heat. The renter after me complained about the lack of heat.”

“Perfect location, close to the beach. Restaurant, grocery store all walkable. The house was dirty, spiders, cobwebs, dust. Very dated which I did notice from the photos so I knew what to expect, for the price it wasn’t anything special. Beds were terrible, not much to offer or inviting. Heat didn’t work, they did mention but didn’t offer any options other than letting us know.”
