“The locks need to be updated. We rented 3 cottages and had issues with all three. Our cottage neighbors also had issues. Fortunately we had good communication with Avari and received help to use backup key system, however that could also be frustrating. We chose to leave our units unlocked to not have the hassle of using the locks. Some Furniture needs replaced. The Bed mattress was very good.”

“Great for vacation not for remote work. It’s a cute cottage with fully equipped kitchen and cosy living room. Just across a street from the beach, walkable to a few restaurants and a store. Overall it’s a really good spot for a vacation. Listed dedicated working space turned out to be a dining table and internet was spotty.”

“We were given the incorrect lock codes and no instructions as to how to use the lock which would’ve been fine except when they didn’t work we didn’t know if we were doing it wrong. Then they sent us new codes. They were also wrong. And only four of the six backup lock boxes worked so our weekend was delayed by an hour and a half after a 5 1/2 hour drive.”

“We did have some issues with one of the cabins not getting hot water and another cabin having the fireplace go a little bit out of control in the middle of the night so we woke up to a 100 plus degree room our first night but my husband was able to just completely turn off the fireplace and tell them to get maintenance when we left so it was fine. Overall the cabins were nice they're like a 2 minute walk to the beach you're really close to Haystack rock and there's not much more that you can want tbh.”

“The overall aesthetic was charming and the size of the house was perfect for my family of 5. The game room was a huge hit with my kids. Being our first time to Cannon Beach we enjoyed the overall adventure. The main drawback was the master bedroom. The many stains on the carpet and strong musty smell were off putting to the overall experience. While the house was cozy and decorated well, you can tell it has been very worn and may need some TLC.”
