“the location was great and the unit was spacious. however, it needs deep clean. the shower was clogged up and needed some attention. we had to call to get the lock box code because it wasn't included with any of the communications we received from avari. overall, the stay was satisfactory.”

“The space and location are great. Check in had multiple issues, but their 24hr team was able to figure it out over time. Map didn't take us to the right area, precheck in website wouldn't allow me to register, it wasn't clear there was a gate or what hours it was manned, only code to get in the building was given not to get into the unit itself, wifi didn't work, blinds didn't close all the way, etc.”

“The room itself was perfect and fit the description accurately. The only thing that could've posed an issue to another traveller was that this property is within a gated community. This wasn't made clear in either the booking description or the check-in communications. It didn't prove to be a huge problem for me, but trying to understand the protocol as a guest was tricky. This host uses a third-party property manager, who are off-site somewhere and seemed to know very little about this site. I called twice and spoke to two different people, both of whom didn't know about the gate. Hint, enter through the more southern entrance or "main" gate when you arrive to check in with the security and setup a pass. Try to catch them before they leave for the night, otherwise you might have to sit at the gate and speak with a remote operator through the little call box. Everything with the room was great, it's a large space, big kitchen, huge TV and bed. The half bath was cool to have.”

“Great place and great community! My kids love the swimming pools (there are 4 pools!) and hot tubs, our apartment is awesome too! The only issue is that the Avari management never respond to my Airbnb questions. The instruction suggested “check-in with front desk”, I queried about the location of the front desk (turns out it’s at the village entrance) and whether there’s laundry facility nearby (turns out it’s in the building #15 and #17). But I never got any response on Airbnb. I had to call their number (and their number listed in Airbnb was wrong) to talk to their customer service (had to wait in line for 20 minutes).”

“This condo was an excellent value. Everything was as advertised. We stayed here for skiing at Mt. Bachelor. We really enjoyed the heated pools and hot tubs after skiing. This is no fault of the owners so I didn’t deduct any stars, but at check-in, the concierge was pretty pushy about trying to sign us up for a timeshare presentation.”
