“I went into the rental with a horrible taste in my mouth. The owner accepted my request and messaged me less than 24 hours later, "they did not include the taxes and fees, and that the reservation will have to be cancelled and a new request submitted for the correct pricing." I thought this was incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL. I called Airbnb, and they told me not to cancel the reservation on my end and if the owner canceled it on their end they would have consequences. Low and behold, they didn't cancel but I was fearful of it up until the actual vacation. How she has superhost status is beyond me. All that aside, the house was great but not worth the stress!”
