“The house was an older home but super big and clean. The neighborhood was not the best but it was quiet and we felt safe. The host is extremely responsive and offered to correct minor issues that we made them aware of.”

“Pros: the hosts were very responsive to messages and there was lots of space for our family of 5 to spread out. It was a short drive to Case Western where we were dropping off a kid starting school. Cons: The house felt uncared for in many ways. Major issues included a third floor window that cranks all the way open with only a screen between a child/pet and a three-story fall, plus a leak in the third floor shower that pooled into the ceiling light and dripped water into the hallway below. Lesser issues included no drinking glasses and only 5 coffee mugs, though the hosts had 4 more mugs delivered when I complained. (No glasses though.) The sofa was stained but covered partially with a blanket and pillows to hide this fact. Chunks of grout were coming out of the bathroom floors. A light in the second floor shower flickered on and off. There was just a general feeling of “set it and forget it” about this property, and definitely not the “luxury” description in the listing.”
