“The house was spacious and comfortable, with good sleeping arrangements for our group of four. The location was convenient for driving into downtown Pittsburgh. The neighbourhood wasn't very walkable, however the neighbourhood pizza place nearby was fantastic. The host's responses to our questions about missing items and things that weren't working gave us the impression that they may not be on-site regularly, as some issues seemed to have gone unnoticed, and a variety of things seem to be missing. It was a comfortable base for exploring Pittsburgh, but more attention to property oversight would improve the stay.”airbnb

“We had a wonderful time and stay. The apartment was very nice. It was very handy having a washer and dryer in our unit as it was very helpful after coming home from the beach. We also enjoyed the gym and pool every night after traveling the city all day. I really recommend this place!”airbnb

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sawyer’s Summit! There were 7 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 dogs in our group and we all had a wonderful experience! Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. There is plenty of space in the house to host MANY more people. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked daily! This property has so many fun features, there was something for everyone! We would recommend this property to anyone and would certainly visit again!”airbnb

“Great location and room to spread out. Like other listings noted, some furniture broken, outdoor game pieces missing, ice maker not working, etc but not a deal breaker. Just minor inconveniences.”airbnb

“DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This was by far the worst Airbnb experience. The listing was incredibly misleading from the start. It advertised beach access that simply doesn't exist. The property is not within walking distance of the beach as described, and we specifically booked it because we believed we would have easy beach access. Instead, we were forced to spend hundreds of dollars in additional expenses on a rental car, gas, and daily beach parking just to access the beach costs we never would have incurred if the listing had been truthful. Another concerning issue was the visible black mold in the property. During our stay, we began experiencing symptoms that made us feel sick, including headaches, congestion, coughing, respiratory irritation, and fatigue, and we were genuinely concerned that the mold exposure was contributing to how we felt. I cannot recommend this property to anyone. If you value honesty, cleanliness, and accurate listings, I strongly suggest booking somewhere else.”airbnb

“The space looks good, as pictured, and was clean upon arrival. However, the actual stay felt cold, impersonal, and lacking basic warmth—more like an automated rental than a welcoming stay. Communication was handled entirely by automated software with little human contact. Despite knowing we were traveling with a toddler, there was no flexibility or empathy on check-in day. We couldn't even access the complex clubhouse to rest after long drive with a toddler. Simple, standard essentials were completely missing: there was no hair dryer, no welcome bottle of water, and the to-go coffee cups had no lids. On check-out day, guests are hit with a strict chore checklist running the dishwasher, and resetting the unit—along with sending photos of key fobs under threat of a $200 fine. It makes you feel more like an unpaid cleaning helper than a paying guest. For what we paid, the stay fell far short on hospitality, comfort, and human touch. You are paying top-dollar for a bed and a list of ch”airbnb

“I travel for work so I stay in Airbnb’s every week. This place was in a very bad area. Driveway is a muddy path. Inside was dirty. TVs didn’t work. Toilet seats falling off. Lights in bathrooms flashing. Could hear people talking through walls. The list goes on. We stayed one night then I had to go through Airbnb to get my money back cause host refused to give me a refund. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!”airbnb
