“We recently stayed at the Secluded Log Cabin near Hocking Hills. Overall, the stay was just okay, but we ran into several noticeable issues during our trip. Our first night was uncomfortable because the heat wasn't working properly. The cabin had window air conditioning units that were secured with plywood, which had visible holes in it. To make matters worse, cold air blew into the cabin even though the outside temperature was down around 40 degrees. Between the draft, the malfunctioning heat, and a lack of extra blankets, it was a very cold night. To their credit, management handled the situation promptly the next day. They came out, removed the window air conditioners, provided space heaters, and offered us a discount to help make things right. Beyond the heating issue, the cabin itself is showing its age. The furniture throughout is quite old, and the bed mattresses were crunchy and made a lot of noise every time someone turned over.”

“There was an issue with the hot water. After the first person took a shower, the water became lukewarm, and the rest of our group was unable to take normal hot showers. Other than this issue, the property was nice.”
