“My boys and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The boys were interested in all the antique tools before I had unlocked the doors. This cabin was amazing inside and out. The owners were easy to get in touch with and made to whole experience easy.”

“If you are looking for a great house to stay in Lake Junaluska, you can't go wrong here. This is a historic cabin with an interesting history. It is very comfortable and cozy with ample space on two floors. My nephews loved the upstairs and having their own rooms. I loved the porch and the great reading spots, both indoors and outdoors. The two TVs were a plus too for viewing sports or streaming our individual shows. The kitchen was easy to navigate and make meals in, and the large dining room table made for a great family meal setup. The location is perfect. You feel like you are up among the trees and the view is great, but you're also close to everything, and it's a short but picturesque walk to the Lake and all of the activities there. The hosts are very friendly and responsive and we were well taken care off.”

“This cabin was as described. The hosts do highlight areas that guests should be aware of in their description, such as lack of AC upstairs, and “ladder-like” stairs. Even as a young-ish adult, I felt very nervous on the stairs and didn’t feel comfortable going up and down. We were there on a particularly hot and muggy night, which made sleeping upstairs pretty warm. Again, this is noted in the description and not a surprise, but guests should take this into consideration when booking. We enjoyed the walk through the gardens to Lake J. The beds were comfortable, and the hosts were responsive.”
