“The home is beautiful, but needs upgrades. The refrigerator has no ice maker, the lighting in the home was inadequent, outside lighting made getting upstairs at dark was difficult, TV upstairs was antiquated and secondary TV (downstairs?did not work at all and the beds were like concrete. The gate code given to us was last years code, but a resident helped us enter the gate.”

“This place is gorgeous but definitely on the rustic side as maintenance to the property and cleanliness of the cabin are lacking. Trees surrounding the home are full of broken limbs and in need of clearing/pruning. Outside of the home/deck/grounds need general maintenance and cleanliness up. Outdoor grill is trash and not usable. Indoors we found dirty dishes, lots of cobwebs, dirt and trash under the chairs/couch and gobs of hairballs under the furniture legs. The saucepans and frying pans are all cheap quality and on their last legs…not really usable. There are no serving dishes or baking sheets. The two wooden bowls they did have are cheap quality and cracked. The request in the owners manual to remove all trash to a recycling center that is 30 minutes away or incur a $100 fee is absolutely ridiculous. Particularly when I am paying a $290 cleaning fee (that seems to not be happening). Was told by Vacasa from my message request that the unit had a keurig, it does not.”

“This place has the potential to be an amazing place to stay. Upon our arrival we found that 2 doors leading to the outside had been left not locked which is very unsafe for incoming travelers. Another one of the doors not connected to the security system did not have a functioning lock. Maintenance was very responsive in coming to fix the door but it still felt very unsafe. The lighting in the cabin was very dim and most light switches were difficult to find. After doing a walk through of the cabin we noticed several dead bugs and cobwebs as well as areas that just looked unkept.”

“We had a great time getting together with family. It was difficult to cook a meal for 8 people because the kitchen did not have adequate cook and serving wares. Despite that challenge we made it work. The views are great because this place is at the top of the mountain and we were visited by deer in the mornings.”
