“We absolutely loved our stay at A River Runs Through It! True to it's name, the highlight for our family was the river, steps away from the back porch. We enjoyed exploring the rocks, wading through the shallow areas and hearing the rushing water. The home itself was exactly what I would want a mountain cabin to be. Clearly hand-crafted, the beams and woodwork were absolutely beautiful and it had a very cozy feel. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed, the provided travel sized toiletries were a nice susprise! The driveway is gravel and a bit rocky BUT flat with no incline or switchbacks (if that is a concern for you when mountain driving). My only worry from reading other reviews was that you can see/hear the road across the river, but honestly, the backyard river and beauty of the home made up for that, and we weren't bothered by the road. We enjoyed the hottub after a long day of hiking. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again!”
