“The location is amazing and was the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the property had several significant maintenance issues that were not adequately disclosed. Most concerning was the kitchen flooring, which was missing down to the subfloor with temporary covering taped over portions. The flooring was uneven and a safety concern, particularly with children and older family members. We were not informed until we were already traveling to the property on check-in day. Other concerns included an active bathroom ceiling leak, what appeared to be mold/mildew around the ceiling vents, a non-working light described as “decorative,” and other incomplete repairs. We also encountered a roach, which the host referred to as “pest activity.” The location is fantastic, but the property needs substantial maintenance, and significant conditions should be disclosed before arrival.”

“This house is not as expected. Upon check in, we found that the floors were covered in dirty and hair from the previous guest. We had to have family bring a vacuum and mop so we could clean it. The kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and tub did not drain. You will be standing in 3-4 inches of water by the time your shower is done which implies that they did not clean the shower or else the housekeeper would have noticed the issue. The final night of our stay, the toilet stopped flushing and would not drain. This left us with no option to shower or use the restroom on our final night and the morning of check out. The linens and towels provided are terrible so you should plan on bringing your own. The place is generally dingy and not well kept. The couches are uncomfortable and some have burn marks on them despite it being non-smoking. I would not recommend this property”

“Our stay at 310 Sea Star Circle was disappointing, considering the price we paid. I'll start with the positives: the location was excellent, the layout of the home worked perfectly for our group, and the bed configuration was exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The property was not properly cleaned before our arrival. We spent our first evening washing sheets because they contained sand and hair, sweeping the floors, cleaning cabinets, and scrubbing the shower in the downstairs master bath due to mildew and visible dirt. We also had to purchase cleaning supplies—including gloves, brushes, sponges, and cleaner—just to make the unit livable. While the rental company did offer to reimburse us for those supplies, there was little sense of urgency or genuine concern that our first night of vacation was spent cleaning not enjoying our stay. Beyond the cleanliness issues, the property showed significant signs of wear throughout.”

“The house and surrounding property were wonderful. Being just steps from the beach made for an incredible stay, and the included beach chairs and boogie boards were a nice bonus. There were a few drawbacks. The interior is a bit dated and could use some maintenance and updates. The air conditioning also struggled to keep the house cool. Our biggest disappointment was with the rental company. When we reported that the internet was out, they were not very accommodating. Additionally, the cleaning crew remained at the property for about three hours after the scheduled check-in time, delaying our ability to settle in, and the issue was never appropriately addressed. Overall, the location was fantastic, but better maintenance and customer service would have made the stay much more enjoyable.”

“The place was stunning and the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday! The view was beautiful and a short walk to the beach. The place was spotless. The elevator was much needed to get to the top floor where the kitchen was. Only issue was the code given for the electronic lock never worked so we had to keep one of the other upstairs doors unlocked to get in. A super safe area so not an issue but did get annoying. Some of the window blinds also were broken so we couldn’t see the view through the doors, just the windows.”
