“Hatfield’s Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay! The beach is beautiful, and the surrounding area is full of friendly people and great spots to explore. We were especially grateful that the owner worked with us so we could bring our three chihuahuas—something we’ve often been denied elsewhere. The extra fee was completely understandable, and we truly appreciated the flexibility. We did run into a couple of minor issues with the doors. The front door wouldn’t latch unless it was lifted slightly, and the handle on the back screen door came off. However, communication was excellent, and both issues were addressed almost immediately. The housekeeper, who stays right next door, even came over in his socks to help us get back in when the door jammed! Overall, it’s a clean, welcoming place run by genuinely kind and responsive people. We had a great experience and would happily stay again.”
