“We inquired about adding a second parking pass and never heard back from rental office. There was a ton of open parking at the condo. We had to make arrangements for second vehicle and EI has very strict parking rules. Other than that, the Cindi was clean and we enjoyed our short stay.”

“The place was absolutely not worth the price! There is minimal to no storage in most bedrooms. There is no storage in one bedroom downstairs. It would be fine for maybe 4 people, but not 8.The downstairs is hot, minimal air flow. The place was not clean, there were ants on the patio and garbage everywhere. You dont know much about the place and what is provided. We brought beach chairs, paper products and they were provided. It says self check in, but you have to go to the office. We had a couple of issues, but they never got fixed before we left. We have been to many places, but this was the worst.”

“I came into town for a work/vacation with fam and by the time we checked in and noticed the Internet was down and dirty blood stained linens on bed the full room the office was closed and the answering service refused to send a message. There were also tiny ants in the kids bedroom and a dirty hall shower. I had to cancel several important meetings the next day due to Internet being down in our unit and inability to reach anyone. We also had noisy neighbors above us running in early am and late pm. Upon check out no instructions left in book and phone message with exact instructions did not come through on my end until after we had to be out. I left sheets on bed and messages them that all beds were used as a courtesy being I was not sure if they wanted the removed. Did a sweeping of unit, washed the dirty dishes and removed all trash from unit prior to check out in hopes I hit everything. Only comp offered was to not charge us for incomplete check out. Would not stay here!”

“1. Faulty smoke alarm kept going off, ruining our stay. Was not fixed in spite of us reporting right after check-in 2. Floor was full of sand. Was clean the next day 3. Be aware that house is not ‘ocean front’. It faces a swimming pool, and ocean is visible from a corner 4. Found the house to be too noisy due to the air conditioning unit right in the living room. Hard to feel the sound of the ocean 5. FYI. This is a large scale corporate operated unit, expect delayed response. Check in process is convoluted, need to pickup and drop the keys from their office few miles away, etc”

“Loved this condo! Great location. Ample space for a small family. The pool was great with the kids and a short walk to the beach! One issue I had was that it was not explained until I was sent the smart lock code that you gave to go across the island to Emerald Isle to pick up parking passes. Then drive back to drop them off directly by check in time. This would have been okay if I was not expecting an easy in-out situation with small children. Also- the fitted sheets on both larger beds did not fit and constantly came off all night. Overall, a good experience.”

“Beautiful beach views from the upstairs patio, and an easy walk to the beach. Con’s: outdated, confusing check in instructions, no exterior lighting on for check in, no essentials like hand soap in bathrooms Pro’s: well stocked kitchen, beachy decor, patio views”

“Overall nice place, listing was vague or flat out unclear that it was a duplex. This seems to be a corporate rental company. Responses seem to be automated. Asked if an early check in was possible and got the same generic response as the first welcome text. Overall decent place but I think the fact that it’s corporate rentals gets away from the very idea of what airb&b was established on.”

“The house is fine. It’s small and simple but directly across from the ocean, so from that perspective it’s exactly what you think. I think in a normal situation the house would be fine. However, during our stay, we experienced water pressure issues, complete water loss, and sewer issues. Not once, but 4 separate issues. Once water was restored, the sprinkler system ran nonstop for a day because it was tied to the main water line. Walking your dog at night and dodging sprinklers is less than ideal. Then layer in black dog hair on the “clean” beds plus only having 1 tv remote for 3 tv’. Safe to say it wasn’t great. I paid $2.3k for a few days and one of those days was essentially ruined. As a goodwill gesture I was given $100 back, which is almost disrespectful.”

“Great location! Lack some on cleanliness, dishes left in dishwasher and dirty dish in cabinet. No hand soap or dish soap only dish washer tabs available. Living room furniture uncomfortable.”

“As much as I want to give good reviews, in this case I just can’t. The location is amazing, the walk and access to the beach is great, but that’s where the positive ended for us. For what we paid for this rental, it is within the same range we pay for around the world, multiple times on the Carolina coast, and this was the most disappointed we have ever experienced. The unit is very old, there was a smell to it, the bathroom smelled like bleach and sewage. Although it was cleaned and some charm, the walls are peeling and dirty, and a lot of cheap furniture. Plastic lamps leaning, coffee table missing screws and about to fall over. Closet door handles missing, bed sheets for the pullout bed a size smaller than the actual bed. No soap in the shower, no hand soap anywhere in the bathroom or kitchen, 1 dirty cleaning sponge. Driving to another location to pickup and drop off parking pass, which I wouldn’t have minded if it was a good experience. We would not stay here again unfortunately.”
