The location was perfect, and we especially loved the relaxing atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout the space. “Hatfield’s Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay! The beach is beautiful, and the surrounding area is full of friendly people and great spots to explore. We were especially grateful that the owner worked with us so we could bring our three chihuahuas—something we’ve often been denied elsewhere. The extra fee was completely understandable, and we truly appreciated the flexibility. We did run into a couple of minor issues with the doors. The front door wouldn’t latch unless it was lifted slightly, and the handle on the back screen door came off. However, communication was excellent, and both issues were addressed almost immediately. The housekeeper, who stays right next door, even came over in his socks to help us get back in when the door jammed! Overall, it’s a clean, welcoming place run by genuinely kind and responsive people. We had a great experience and would happily stay again.”

“Loved our stay at this immaculate house. It was furnished to a very high standard. The location was stunning. The beach was beautiful, practically empty and only a short walk away. Pristine sand and crystal clear water. It is located at the unique point, our favorite area on EI, a bonus was seeing the wonderful deer family every morning and evening. I would definitely stay again.”

It was a little inconvenient to have to go to the office, the opposite direction to get and drop off the gate keys. Other than that, it was a great experience.”
