“We paid for a heated pool, we arrived to a cold pool. Why wasn't the heat turn on the day of our arrival. Waste of money heating a pool after the fact. AC stopped working and no one responded to our request to check it out. We spent two nights sleeping in miserable heat, house got up to 95 degrees our last day. Opening the windows provided no relief as half of them didn't have screens and flying insects flew in. About 6 windows had issues opening as the cranks were broken or the hinges disconnected from the window. The king bed was lumpy, not at all comfortable. Other than that, the house was well furnished and the location was great. Just disappointing about the lack of response about the AC not working and the pool not being heated after we paid in advance. This house needs some upkeep. It could be a really nice place.”

“We’ve used Village Realty a few times, they are always difficult to communicate with (slow to respond, if at all) and sometimes maintenance workers show up at your property unexpected. For this property: The Good: The heated pool was the best part of this property. The privacy and proximity to Duck was great. They provide you parking passes for a private community beach parking and access which was great (but it was not communicated in the guide)! The Bad: There were a lot of steep stairs and it was very difficult and unsafe for the kids. The property is outdated and needs improvement. The bedrooms and bathrooms were so much smaller than expected. The windows were leaking when it rained. The downstairs Queen bed is absolutely awful and needs to be replaced immediately. The outdoor pool bathroom has a lock on it which was not provided with the property guide, and Village Realty did not respond with the code when we asked for it. Overall, we were disappointed with this property.”

“Enjoyed our stay, house was as described. Kitchen was very well equipped, all furnishings were very nice. Pool area was perfect size with plenty of seating. Beautiful location!”
