“Great place ! We had a great time and lots to do at Avon ! Super close to Frisco which was our favor beach . Be aware of the mosquitos , but other than that, awesome spot!”

“Absolutely lovely area and the house is nice. I cannot recommend this enough except for the one issue I do have. The only real issue I had was trying to sleep on those beds. The beds in this house are atrociously bad. The type of mattress you stay up late to avoid. The type of mattress you wake up on and run to the couch for comfort. Not one bed in this house is remotely comfortable. The beds aside, this is a dream vacation spot. The house is nice. The location is perfect. The only thing keeping me from rebooking again for next year is the beds. I would rebook immediately if I knew there would be better mattresses. As amazing as the place is I do still need decent sleep in order to enjoy everything fully.”

“Neighborhood was very peaceful, and easy to navigate. Loved walking and biking the trail. Downtown Manteo was a highlight. Lots of great, local shops. Plenty of room for 6 in the house and guest house. Kitchen extremely well stocked. Had everything we needed. Pool was clean and welcoming during a hot week in August. We kayaked and fished in the canal. Loved enjoying morning coffee on the decks overlooking the canal.”

“It was very disappointing to pay such a high price for a vacation home and then find it dusty, trash left by pool, and unknown brown smears on the furniture. I found it unacceptable that we reported a major leak in one of the bathrooms and although a representative came out to look at it, the leak was never fixed. That left us without a bathroom for the duration of our vacation. At a minimum, even if the leak could not be fixed at that time, it would have been courteous if we were contacted with an explanation.”
