“A beautiful home and well supplied with the basics:) This house is definitely perfect for large groups, there’s plenty of space. The views on both sides are beautiful at sunset and sunrise. The pool and hot tub are well maintained, there’s a pine tree on the property that likes to shed its needles in the pool area but the cleaning net is conveniently on the wall. A beach access is within walking distance just a small trek from the house and the pier is not even a 5 minute drive. Salvo is right in the middle of lots of restaurants and shops a nice location if wanting privacy:)”

“This house was a good size for our family trip with 8 people. The home matched the description and the photos. The pool and hot tub were clean and well managed. The property manager was very responsive via text and was accommodating and let us check in early. The reason for 4 star rating and not 5: - distance to the beach: the house was technically a little more than a block from the beach. However, the entrance that’s a block away is mostly some pallets for walking and not a boardwalk that a wagon or tent on wheels could go over. We ended up driving to a different entrance so we could wheel our wagon, cooler, and tent on the beach. - the grill at the house: I was told the grill was a gas grill but it’s actually a charcoal grill. - distance to a grocery store: the nearest Food Lion was about 20 minutes away. Overall, it was a good beach house and worked well for my family for a 4 day beach trip.”

“If you want a place with privacy, great amenities, and a responsive host, then this place is for you. Our stay was for 7 nights with 4 adults, and the place was the perfect size for us. This rental can house more people; however, it would be crowded. We only used 2 bedrooms to sleep, but to have room for all of our clothes and items, we did end up using the additional room for storage. It would've been manageable with more people, but it would have been very cramped. We only had two issues; one was with the master bathtub being clogged, and the second was the beds. We messaged Hatteras Realty, and they were quick to respond, send over maintenance, and have the drain fixed immediately. The bed issue was that they didn't have box springs and were on a wooden board, so they were very hard and uncomfortable. This caused us all to have issues sleeping and waking up stiff and with back pain. Overall, we had a great stay, but with the bed issue, we might be wary of staying again.”

“Wonderful house- the kids loved the pool & hot-tub. Lots of stairs but we hit our step limit each day- haha! We drove out on the beach at MP 25 instead of walking to the beach so we can’t speak to walkability. You can see the sun rise over the ocean and set over the bay from the 3rd floor. Overall, it was a great stay!”
