“⚠️ Warning to future guests. Our family of 7 had a very disappointing stay. The location was great, and if the house had been clean and pest-free, it easily could have been a 5-star stay. Unfortunately, we found live fleas throughout the house. Our dogs were covered in fleas, and all 7 of us had bites around our ankles. We provided photos/videos documenting the problem. The property management company sent an inspector who spent less than 5 minutes walking through the 4-story house and declared there were no bugs. We found 5 live fleas in one room within minutes of him leaving. They refused to relocate us, saying we might take fleas with us, while insisting the house was bug-free. Airbnb was very helpful and refunded us 30% per day after we reported the issue. The pool is about 20 minutes away with limited hours, and the Wi-Fi was out for most of our week. We would not stay here again and recommend future guests carefully consider these issues before booking.”

“The house was nice it needed some work. The washing machine leaked. The boards around the house were rotting including the ones under the hot tub. Everything was dated. The carpet was stained in some areas. There was pee on the toilet seat in the upper bathe room and I had to clean it. The downstairs bathroom had tile trim hanging on by tape. It just needs to have some care. The ping pong table was broken. Overall we enjoyed our stay but we will not rent this property again.”

“This was a beautiful location and the elevator was so helpful. We found that the house cleaning was lacking and there was noticeable dust and filth. We also felt like some of the fixtures could use some updating.”

“The house was over all clean and spacious. Walkable to the beach. Ice cram with in walking distance. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Restaurant right down the road. Overall good vacation.”

“This place served its purpose. The inside was very clean and spacious. I will say the common area wasn’t very comfortable. A lot of furniture stuffed together with 2 glass tables (which can be challenging with children). The inside was very outdated however clean, the only thing that could’ve been a bit cleaner were the stairs that were carpeted and kind of had a musty odor and the outside spaces. The decks were a nice feature. The top deck with the hot tub was a nice place to unwind at night. The bottom deck however was pretty dirty and green from mildew which made sitting out there not the most relaxing. The location was nice and a very quick walk to the beach access and community pool. I enjoyed the lower pace of the area. Check in being 5pm is a bummer as you lose an entire day waiting to check in, especially since check out is early (10am). Cuts the stay short on both ends. Overall for the price it served its purpose and we enjoyed our trip a ton.”
