Resort Real Estate & Rentals at Sugar Mountain in North Carolina

“Overall, our trip to Elk Hill drive was good. The outside of the property is BEAUTIFUL! The entire yard is fenced in so your dog can roam about freely. The deck was brand new, I believe. There is plenty of space for a large family to eat, sleep and play. There was only 3 of us so we each had our own king size bed and our own bathrooms! The kitchen had a lot to be desired. It was not well organized. There were few pots pans- none with matching lids. There were few cooking utensils. There were no hot pads to take things out of the oven or the stove. There was no broom to clean up after ourselves or cleaning products, other than dish soap and dishwasher pods. The showers were moldy. My bathmat was dirty with even a toenail in it. I washed them myself. The fans were dusty. The sheets were scratchy as well. Over all I would give the property a 6 out of 10. It depends on what you are looking for-- space or cleanliness. Space/view is a 10 out of 10, cleanliness 4 out of 10.”

“The only 2 negative things were the parking situation and a lack of sufficient hot water. Having to park and be shuttled was a pain and there was not enough hot water for 2 showers”
