“Cardinals Roost is a beautiful property. Very clean. Lots of amenities. Nothing was tired looking. Everything looked fresh. It was peaceful. Great places to sit and relax - screened in porch was our favorite. Just a few things could have been improved. The primary bedroom door does not latch closed. So we had to keep something against the door when we needed privacy. Every bathroom only has two towels so it required us to do laundry constantly. There are two washers but who wants to do laundry constantly on vacay? This could be remedied with 2 additional bath towels in each bathroom. There was a gnat problem in the kitchen. If you pulled food out they showed up instantly. Not sure what the problem is there. Also, be aware in the summer months, there is no central air conditioning. There are some kind of units in each room. It does keep the home cool. However they do not pull out the humidity. You are cold and sweaty at the same time. Overall a good stay.”

“Really nice place to stay. Compact but well thought out. Great location close to DuPont and all of its waterfalls and hikes. Brevard has a lot to do, but has a great small town vibe. Beds got really good reviews from all of the sleepers.”

“It is a gorgeous property. We are repeat guests. See my review from last year. We had 4 generations staying in the home and every couple had their own suite. We are quite spoiled staying here. Quick info: there is a king suite on ground level. Bathroom has a tub. Safety bars are installed. We brought our own shower chair for our elderly parents. There are 4 king suites on the second floor with a huge living space (great for World Cup viewing!). 3 twins beds on the 3rd floor with its own bathroom. All of these are walk in showers. There is also a cottage with a queen bed in bedroom, its own bath and living space with kitchenette. There is ample indoor living space in the main house, an outdoor pavilion as well as a screened in patio and hot tub to the side. You will not regret booking this place. It is totally worth it.”
