“Beautiful coastal cottage. Lots of historic charm and character. Had everything you could need. Convenient to everything a short walk or a bike ride to the lighthouse and the waterfront. I rented a bike and a kayak from Ride the wind Surf Shop. They dropped them off at the house, which was super convenient. I didn’t get back in my car until I left the island all weekend. I biked everywhere. The screened in front porch was a lovely place to have morning coffee and to hang out at night.”

“This is an ideal place for the fisherman who either has a small boat or is planning a trip to rent a boat. The dockage is perfect for a Carolina skiff or v bottom boat no bigger than 22 feet long. Keep in mind the canal is very shallow, so no sportfishers unless you have a dingy and you park your big boat at silver lake. The place is ideal for a captain and a small crew. Big couples space upstairs and small family quarters downstairs. The place was great.”
