“Great place! Even included things not in the description like a grill and coffee grinder. It was the first time I did not ride a bike on Ocracoke - due to being 7 months pregnant - and wanted a place that was walkable. It was perfect! Super walkable to the coffee shop, Howard’s, and the Variety Store (all our go-to spots). The beds were comfy, shower pressures were better than my own home, and the fenced-in yard was narrow enough so my 6-lb chihuahua could not escape.”

“Very private location. Somewhat difficult to locate. Property is as described but could use some updating. TV remote had no batteries and was not a smart TV. We were disappointed that the screened in porch had holes in the screens that allowed mosquitoes in and therefore wasn’t really usable. The smoke detector/fire alarm was super sensitive and went off unprovoked.”

“They should have told house about the construction. Would be better if they wasn’t working from 7 till 9 each day we was staying.”

“Not worth the money. House needs updating badly. The listing wasn’t up front about having to provide all linens, towels, and soaps, and paper products. We were text later about the things not being provided. Mattresses were hard as the hardwood floor. I like a firm mattress but these were bad. Had to call emergency number to get code for door at 730pm when was told we would be provided code upon arrival. I texted at 6 pm through Airbnb and said we would be arriving soon and asked for code and no response. Power to internet was off. I had to find the GFCI which was outside to reset to get power back on the internet. Luckily I’m an electrician and could figure it out. Upstairs shower plumbed incorrectly. To get hot water handle to be in cold position, which means valve plumbing backwards. House in good location just needs lots of TLC for the amount on money.”
