Oak Island Accommodations in North Carolina

“Condo unit very close to the beach and pools, especially with a Golf Cart. Unit is a little old and has some old features to it. However, kitchen Indian look nice. Minor issues with some housekeeping, but they were very quick to resolve it and very courteous and helping out. Just be aware if you rent a Golf Cart, and you need to charge it, there are no outlet plugs available except on the third floor porch. Also no water hose to rinse Golf Cart court off. Worked well, however with my daughter and grandchild. She loved the pools. We enjoyed riding the golf cart downtown to Resturant. Would probably rent again. Owners just need to revamp some of the old in the bedrooms.”

“Great location, walkable to shops and restaurants. Dog friendly with dog park very close by. Over priced due to bad odors, moldy shower curtain and liner, moldy tile in shower. Garbage disposal wouldn’t run and also had moldy smell. Had to buy plug in air fresheners to help with odor. Comforter/bedding had bad odor-left bed clothing with an unpleasant odor. Visible items under the porch looked sloppy and uninviting. Yard more dirt and ant hills ..not much grass/landscaping. Side of house needs Powerwashing.”

“Water was not hot enough. Could use appliance upgrades, the stove works but took forever to heat up. Kitchenware is in need of replacing(pots)”

“Great and spacious condo super close to Caswell Beach. Loved that it has two pools you can go to while you're there. Decently appointed.”

“Perfect beach location! Steps away from beach. Close to town and Southport. Wonderful restaurants within 20 mins. Condo could use a good thorough deep cleaning (baseboards, blinds, door frames, stairwell).”
