This was our third stay on Topsail Island, and while the beachfront location was great, this home was disappointing. The driveway was filled with sand, making it impossible to keep sand out of the house and cars. At check-in, the home wasn’t ready, and cleaning appeared incomplete—food smears on appliances, sauce on walls, dirty floors, and unclean furniture. We also dealt with a significant ant problem and received slow, ineffective communication from management, ultimately handling it ourselves. Access to the beach is only through a bedroom, which is inconvenient for guests staying there. Several outlets didn’t work, and we found personal items left in drawers, suggesting poor cleaning. While we still enjoyed our trip, we would not rent this home again.

Unfortunately would not recommend. While the beach front location is unmatched, I haven’t stayed in an Airbnb this old… ever? It’s a shame they do the bare minimum here- a few updates, clean furniture, providing amenities that aren’t the cheapest options would go a long way to make guests feel more at home and comfortable.

Lovely home. We enjoyed our stay overall. However, need to clean bed cover and shams for each guest. Stains on sham. Only need two or three cmforter and shams sets. Remove one, replace with the other. Wash the first one and so on. Always have a clean one in the closet ready for house keeping. Welcome kit was a nice touch! Balcony chairs very dirty. For $400+ a night I shouldnt have to spend vacation time cleaning balcony chairs to sit in and enjoy the balcony. A scrubbing padwill clean off grit. Shower glass streaks easy to remove. Use a stainless steel pad and comet. I don’t like being blackmailed to write a review—-“or else we will write one for you.” Thanks

Furniture was broken, not enough silverware, old window AC only in living room. Rest of the place had no AC. Patio furniture was broken. Only a short period where some beach was exposed and that was wet. Most of the time the tide was to the steps and sandbags & the beach was not accessible. Washer and dryer were expensive and we lost money in them with no help to get it back. They never responded. Only one parking pass even though we were supposed to receive two. Bed slept horrible and was squeaky. Not much furniture and what was there was broken. Not enough bedding. No where to sit to eat but one barstool. Place was for 5-6 guests. No key & no instructions on using the key pad. Nothing what was advertised. Messaged and asked for a beach front and they told us that’s what we had, but it was ocean front. No beach to get on. Pictures did not match the place. Different furniture and rundown looking.
