First Flight Rentals in Nags Head, North Carolina

“Jeff never responded when we were not provided a code to get inside and were locked out for three hours past our check in time. Finally the reality company responded then hung up and texted but was also slow to respond even though they knew we were sitting outside with groceries. Jeff is actually out the host it is a reality company so that would have been nice to know. The number to contact was Jeff’s number but he never responded or answered. The place was in a nice location and the view was beautiful.”

“The location was fantastic and the place itself was beautiful and spacious. The deck was great for hanging out and had nice views of the sound. Unfortunately the kitchen counters weren't wiped fully and the floors were very dirty! Our feet and socks were black on the bottom from walking around. A bit strange since there was a note from the cleaners requesting tips. There were no baking sheets, no shower curtain liner in the main bath and the vanity light didn't work. we did purchase a shower curtain liner to be sure there was no water damage during the week. There was a light out on the balcony which was unfortunate because we planned to play games outside, but didn't have enough light. The wifi password changed at 10:30 pm 12 hours before check out, we couldnt finish the movie we were watching or fall asleep with the TV on. These things didn't ruin our trip by any means but are easy fixes that could have made the experience more enjoyable. Overall we had a great stay and vacation.”

“We stayed here in Nags Head for a week in mid-September and had an amazing experience. The rental was exactly as advertised—if not better—and Jeff from First Flight Rentals was excellent in communicating procedures and making sure everything went smoothly. Even with some weather disruptions from a nor’easter early in the week, the accommodations more than made up for it and allowed us to enjoy our stay fully. The location and views are outstanding, making this a must-visit spot. We’d definitely consider staying here again for a future vacation. Thank you!”

“Beautiful location and amazing views with tons to do nearby. Host was responsive. I would give it a 5 stars if it had more amenities & did not feel like a nickel & dime on certain things. It kept adding up, I didnt mind bringing extra but then when we discovered there was only 4 towels and requested 2 more I was told it would be $8. If it is supposed to sleep 6, there should be 6 towels not 4. As a former host, that didnt make any sense to me, especially since this airbnb was more expensive than others in the area. Cookware could use a good upgrade as they were very loose and worn. Floors were not mopped when we arrived so we had to buy a swiffer. Also there was no cleaning spray, dish soap, seasoning, coffee and little stuff. I think if it was one thing then I wouldnt mind but it started adding up to stock their airbnb & I got frustrated when I got told it would be $8 for towel when we spent $3300 already a long with stuff we had to get. I would still highly recommend due to location.”
