“Such a great location, quiet and close to everything!”

“We had to turn off the ice cold ac 15 minutes upon arrival due to very damp mildew smell. Ductwork had black mold. Upholstered furniture was to wet to sit. Could not open all windows and many screens had rips and holes. One bedroom had no screens. They rejected compensation but offered to relocate to another property after I asked if they had other places. We repacked to move to a liveable property under their management. I have photos of the mold if I am allowed to upload. Management claimed the ac was recently replaced. I received no answer when I asked if the ductwork was replaced as well. Airbnb support was involved to help my family relocate to other property. The new property was nice. It was a lot to go through on the first day of our stay. Day one, we unpacked, climbed one flight of stairs with bags on a hot day with my 84 yr old father and two dogs, report the ac/mold, living on the outside decks to get breathable air until I thought to ask if they had another property.”

“We really loved this condo! It was beautifully decorated and had a very welcoming feel. The balcony was one of our favorite features—it was large and had seating, making it a nice place to relax. We also loved how convenient it was to the walkway leading to the beach. One thing to be aware of with the location is that the condo is right beside the entrance to the walkway. While this made getting to the beach very convenient, there was quite a bit of foot traffic passing directly beside our balcony, so there wasn't quite as much privacy or quiet as we had hoped. The bathroom was very nice, and the shower itself was great, although the shower head could use an upgrade. The biggest downside for us was the sleeping comfort. The mattress was very firm, and unfortunately we did not sleep particularly well. The pull-out couch in the living room was also quite uncomfortable, as the cushions sank down quite a bit when sitting on them. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thought the cond”

“Our stay was part work and relaxation. Unfortunately, the weather was less than desirable with a Nor’easter off the coast but the Air bnb did not disappoint. There was plenty of garage parking. The electricity never even flickered and the location was so code to dining, shopping and the beach. We spent more time indoors and the condo didn’t disappoint. We will definitely be planning to return next year”

“Great Location! We did notice that there are 2 parking spots labeled for this unit instead of the one that fits 2 cars in the description. Outdoor shower does not work. Remote for bedroom 2 was missing upon arrival. However I would definitely rent this unit again. It is right on the Nags Head-Kill Devil Hills line.”

“Cute place, great location right on the beach! Enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion is adding beach chairs for your guests use.”

“I would gave it a 5 star but I can’t because the condo wasn’t cleaned. My husband arrived around 6pm or little after. When he open the door it had a smell like ammonia of pet pee. Then he noticed that the beds hadn’t been made or changed the sheets. The used towels were in the floor in every room. The floor hadn’t been swept. You can see that the dust under the couch, under the tables. I know you can’t expect spring cleaning or anything like everything should be wiped down but you can tell this place needs a good cleaning. The floors were so bad you can feel sand everywhere. You can tell the floors hadn’t been mopped in weeks. My husband finally got a hold a lady and she was nice and apologized to him and she was going to compensate us but she never did or hear from her. She finally got a cleaning crew to come over at 9:30 at NIGHT! 2 people showed up and all they did was change the sheets and made the bed and gave us clean towels. They didn’t even sweep the floors or bathrooms.”

“We had a great stay. Condo is huge and close to the beach. Great restaurants and ice cream spots all walkable. Swells’a brewery right next door. Ocean water was almost crystal clear and beach is huge and plenty of shallow areas for kids when tide is out. Everything was very clean and as described. Tons of books, games and puzzles in the condo. Also tons of kitchen furnishings. Our only gripe, which was out of hosts control was that a large refrigerated truck parked directly underneath the ocean view balcony 4 of our 7 nights. The parking on this side is for the Ramada across the street but very annoying that the truck was running the whole time so we really couldn’t enjoy that balcony in afternoon and Evening due to sound and diesel fumes. Again out of their control but maybe the host can investigate and try to prevent this in the future. Calls to Ramada manager were unreturned. Would have give 5 stars if not for truck situation.”
