“We did a last minute booking at this location, after the condo we had previously booked had to cancel due to a broken pipe with water damage, the night before our arrival. First flight Rentals was very good to work with, although, being a rental agency, they had an additional document to sign (online) before we could check in. They communicated well, and were friendly to work with. There was one slight issue on arrival, the access code they gave us didn't work, but when I called, they quickly generated a new one and we were in. The location is really great, within walking distance to a few of our favorite restaurants, and the local craft brewery. And of course, the beach! We're looking forward to staying here again on a future visit!”

“Would highly recommend this property if staying in the Outer Banks! Pet friendly, which was great and hard to find. Clean, good condition, and property owner was extremely responsive. Best part about staying here is that you can use all of the amenities and features of the across the street hotel, without staying there and having your own private space. This included a pool, beach, access, and free breakfast every morning. It was the best of both worlds. Great experience and will definitely come back.”

“Water pressure is not good. Shower in queen bedroom has nice shower heads but the water pressure is so low you can’t use all the shower heads. I do recommend deep cleaning the floors. When we arrived the floors were not the cleanest. Your white socks will become black. If there was a mop there I would have cleaned them. I always check the sheets when we stay anywhere and noticed that the sheets were put on wrong side out, both beds. Also there were dishes left in the right dishwasher. My husband emptied it. The door handle to the entry door by the hot tub is rusted and really needs to be changed. Overall the place suited us. Just a few housekeeping items.”

“The condo is beautiful and the porch is the showstopper, as stated by the description and other guests. We found the condo to be adequately clean except the floors. While they may not allow pets, there was a lot of pet hair on our Swiffer each time. (As we hit different corners or under furniture). The couches did not have any, thankfully. Kitchen had all that we needed, we ate in most of the time. Very nice, adequately clean. Elevator out of order, which seems to be the case more than it seems to be working so just be aware. I noticed from other reviews that we might not have it and I asked the owner and they did say it was not operating currently. Great parking area under the building and storage lockers available for outdoor gear. Very fun to watch all the wind surfing sports right off of the porch and of course the beautiful sunsets. We brought binoculars to watch the different boats and water sports occurring, it was fun!”

“We stayed here in Nags Head for a week in mid-September and had an amazing experience. The rental was exactly as advertised—if not better—and Jeff from First Flight Rentals was excellent in communicating procedures and making sure everything went smoothly. Even with some weather disruptions from a nor’easter early in the week, the accommodations more than made up for it and allowed us to enjoy our stay fully. The location and views are outstanding, making this a must-visit spot. We’d definitely consider staying here again for a future vacation. Thank you!”

“We had the greatest time at Sea Glass Retreat- we would absolutely stay again!! We made some incredible memories and we spent a lot of time at the house given the weather wasn’t great. The pros completely outweighed the cons Pros: water pressure! Great location! Great toilets Very clean and family friendly! Game corner Excellent host!! There was an issue with the dryer and it was remedied the very next business day! It didn’t hinder our vacation at all. Everything we needed in the kitchen The layout- I loved that we could put the kids to bed and still hang out on the top floor without the fear of waking them up. Cons: the backyard where the solar fire pit is, was not completely fenced in and we thought it would be- so that was a major bummer. However the pool part was completely fenced in! A weird spot or two in the pool where there was rusted metal but it sort of covered by rubber”

“Great stay at the Sea Glass Retreat! Very walkable to the beach, we caught some great sunrises at the beach while there too! Loved having a pool at the house as well, and the house is very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. We would definitely stay here again and had a great time!”
