“I wish I had more time here! The view was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. I just loved taking in the beautiful sounds of nature and the mountains on the back porch. Loved the option of both a fire pit and gas fireplace as well. Easy to find and felt very secluded. The inside was beautiful and had everything we needed. I would love to stay here again.”

“The house is private, clean, and quiet. It’s convenient to the grocery store, a few places to eat are 15-20 mins away. We didn’t do much around the area because we came for an event and then pretty much left. I’d love to go back and see Chimney Rock. The nearby Lake was really low but I hear it will be ready by summer. My kids loved the pin ball machine at the AirBnb. I loved the little things provided (like all different types of cookware and seasonings). If we need to go back to this area I would definitely consider staying here again.”

“There was a carbon monoxide leak at the home during our stay. Alarms went off in the house multiple times during the duration of our - brief and interrupted stay- including at 3am. Alarms only resolved with opening of doors and windows. The property manager called the fire department who identified carbon monoxide inside the residence (which thoroughly explained the inexplicable, throbbing headaches I had during the stay). We were forced to vacate the property by the property manager, who was in contact with the owner and promised to reimburse us for the remaining four days of our stay. Needless to say there was no refund, and the property manager was just encouraging us to not utilize Airbnb to resolve the issue or report this MAJOR safety concern. The leak was not resolved when we left. We are unsure if the owners of the property are aware of what transpired with the leak or the property managers careless actions. Highly recommend avoiding this property in the near future.”

“We absolutely loved it here. The House is beautiful and new. The views were absolutely incredible. The location was extremely convenient to Lake Lure and only 5 Minutes to Ingles Grocery Store. I would highly recommend staying here. We will rent again.”
