“Excellent place”

“Home met our needs for large family gathering! Pluses: Very responsive host! Large home with lots of space, bedrooms, and great porches on main and upper floors. Well equipped kitchen w/ two ovens and dishwasher. Ample supplies (soaps, towels, TP, trash bags, detergents). Several TV's, pool table & hot tub. 2nd refrigerator on lower level was helpful. All appliances worked well. Minuses: Window with hole to outside. Overgrown landscaping and firepit beds with lots of weeds and wild trees, lawn overgrown. Pool tale needs leveling. Game room and bedroom with two twin beds need complete refresh (paint, carpet, trim). Furniture in front family room and dining chair seats are stained. Listing photos suggest privacy and grandiose views but the house is in a residential area with a mountain view in only one direction. This is a well used property and the photos are outdated and don't accurately represent the actual condition or location. Needs some attention from host to be better!”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and inviting living areas. The biggest improvement needed is the basement. The bedroom with the two twin beds feels outdated and would greatly benefit from fresh paint, new carpeting, and updated décor. No one in our group wanted to stay in that room. The game room carpet also needs replacement, and one basement bathroom door did not lock properly. The toilets throughout the house are old and small and could be updated. Also, be aware that on the main level, one of the two bedrooms does not have direct access to a shower. Guests must either use the shower in the neighboring bedroom or the shared bathroom in the basement. With these updates, this would be an outstanding home for large groups.”
