“The place did not match the photos and was difficult to locate. There is no network coverage in the area, making it impossible to contact the host when needed. The property was much smaller than it appeared in the listing photos, and the beds in two of the rooms were extremely uncomfortable. We also had a very disappointing experience with the host and their support team. After checking out, we realized we had left an item behind and contacted the host immediately with the exact location where it was left. It took nearly a week for them to respond, only to say they could not find it despite us being 100% certain it was there. Communication throughout our stay and afterward was frustratingly slow and unhelpful. Airbnb support was not much help either, and we were never compensated for the missing item. Overall, the property is overpriced for what it offers. There are many larger and better-maintained places in Asheville with far better experience at a reasonable price.”
