Carolina Mornings in Maggie Valley, North Carolina

“Overall great place. Everything worked as it should. You can't hear a car or neighbor in the distance; this place is pretty remote and private, which I prefer. There's plenty of things to do within a half of an hour to an hour drive. I visited the north country, Asheville, Bryson City, and, of course, Maggie Valley while I was there. The road up the mountain is mostly unpaved, but one of the locals graded the road at least 2-3 times within the 10 days I was there. I would recommend this place and stay here again.”

“Nice spacious house to stay at while in the area , would recommend an suv at least for getting to the house as it is a decent drive to the house from the main road. But that was in the description 🙂”

“The interior was very nice. The outside needs a lot of maintenance. The altitude needs to be listed. I have heart condition and it was hard to breathe. We left a day early and got a hotel rm. It's more suited for younger people. you should have a small vehicle for parking. Outside surrounding is very over grown.”

“Upon arrival the landscaping was over grown and unkept. We looked forward to the fire pit but it was completely covered with weeds and vines. The views from the deck were not the same as advertised due to the over growth of the trees. Once inside we found the downstairs bedroom had a strong foul musty odor and mold growing on the ceiling. We tried running the heat and A/C in that area but it made it worse. The inside of the cabin was clean and decorated professionally. We enjoyed our stay but would not stay at this particular cabin and would definitely confirm what we are getting in the future.”
