“I would give it 5 stars just for the location! But I am knocking my overall stay down to 4 stars. No grill, I know it wasn’t listening in the amenities but a grill would be very nice for a beach stay. Also we had to make our own beds? Never in my life had I had to do that at a rental before.”

“The inside of the home and the kitchen appliances could use more thought and love. The sheet service and make your own bed when you get there was less then appealing. The sheets were a thousand times old and nubby. The outdoor furniture was weathered and not of great comfort for long visits on the beautiful deck. Beautiful location.”

“overall our state was great! Only thing was previous day must not have taken out the garbage so the garbage can was infested with maggots and an alarming amount of flies so outside had tons of flies in the parking area. It made it difficult to take the garbage out as we did not want to get close to the flies because there were so many. The dryer also did not dry our clothes at all despite multiple attempts. Had to take all of our damp smelly clothes home to wash”

“My wife and 2 kids enjoyed our week at Topsail Beach. It is one of our favorites because of its quiet nature. We don’t look for many activities to do other than enjoying the home and beach. The location was great beach front property about 10 minutes from the Surf Side bridge and 2 minutes from the Topsail community. The house was a good size for our small family but would not want too many people in it. The spiral staircase is steep and might make it hard for some. The outdoor furniture was great to relax in, enjoy a good book or just sit and watch the ocean. The downstairs mattress was a little too firm for us but others might like the mattress. We would recommend staying in this rental for the price, location and beach front option.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The house is so close to the beach and had a great outdoor shower for washing off the sand when we got back.”
