Scoast Vacation in Lake Norman Of Catawba, North Carolina

“Overall the house was beautiful but the amenities offered were not available due to lack of care. When we arrived the prior guest had left trash in both cans full to the to, there were also about 6-7 bags next to the cans as well along with a few boxes of empty beer bottles. I informed the company as soon as I arrived. They told me someone would be out to get it, no one ever came that night or the next day. The next morning I was woke up to a text from the company asking me to take the trash to the street. I was very upset that thanked me to do this after they told me someone was coming the night before, I did it but the trash was everywhere in the morning cause the animals got in it. I was cut multiple times by glass and had to pick up some dirty diapers. Not sanitary at all. There was a mouse living in the grill in the back, there were ticks in the bed upstairs, check the beds before getting it them. The trash sat there on the crib for three days before anyone showed up.”

“Hello! This was a great house in a good location but there is lacking communication on amenities, and cleanliness. Amenities lacking communication for: - 0 lake access from property when told there would be. There was an assumed trail in the backyard leading to somewhere but it was to someone else’s private property and their dock. When this was pointed out, they gave direction to a road to take us to lake access which turned out to be docs attached to other people’s homes. You can see the lake but cannot access it at all. -Cooking ware is absolutely lacking. There are 0 pots and pans to cook on. Nothing even remotely close to cook pasta or something large. - The outside trashcan was overflowing from previous tenants. There was no space to put any trash from our stay in the trash cans and it smelled like the trash has been there for a while. -Communication was lacking on late checkout as they told us an hour before it was unavailable. It was a nice and large home just not for us.”

“**No lake access** I house says private lake access but it didn’t have lake access at all. The beach chairs and kayaks were filthy. You will need a truck or suv to transport them to a lake. House was beautiful and so was the area. The games inside the house were great and the host was responsive to my concerns.”

“I’ve had over 50 Airbnb stays and this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The house was absolutely amazing Game room was so much fun The outside deck was amazing as well I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a top of the line home”
