“We made a last-minute decision to look for somewhere to go for the week leading up to July 4th. I was thrilled to find this house right on the lake at Lake Lure. There was some initial confusion on my part about the dock being closed because of damage from Hurricane Helene, but Greybeard reached out to me right away to clear things up and, because of my misunderstanding, gave me some time to talk to my family to decide if I still wanted to move forward with the reservation. We did and ended up having a great week anyway (we rented a boat one day and went to Lake Lure Beach another in order to access the lake). Check-in and check-out Instructions were clear and easy to follow, the house was clean, and essentials to get our week started were provided. I had several questions ahead of time, and they were all answered promptly and thoroughly. When the dock gets rebuilt and is accessible again, this house will be the kind of place that you never have to leave once you check in!”
