“Worth every penny! Secluded and nestled in the blue ridge mountain area in the cute and homey town of Black Mountain. This house is a hidden gem! Around one hour to major attractions like Mount Mitchell and major hiking with waterfalls like Brevard. Lots of delicious food all around and coffee options. The house itself has a gorgeous view of the mountains, fireplace, fully stocked kitchen with welcome supply bag, 3 comfortable beds, and great little quaint neighborhood to walk around in. 12/10! Would stay again as it’s perfect!”

“Greybeard was very responsive! The rental was charming- the kitchen well equipped, the porch space was great for hanging out. The second bedroom is a little tight as is the second shower for tall people, but over all we loved staying there and would come back again!”

“Rental unit was exactly as described. The rental is listed as having 3 bedrooms, however there is actually an extra 4th king bedroom off the media/pool table room (good for future renters to know. It doesn't have its own private bathroom - but there is a full bathroom on that same floor). It was nice to have the flexibility of the additional bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with a much higher volume of quality pots, pans, plates, stemware, etc. than most rentals we've stayed at. Lastly the hot tub is in clean, pristine working condition and gets serviced every Wednesday. We are clean freaks and felt very comfortable using the hot tub.”

Greybeard Rentals went above and beyond…they made three trips to bring us food, supplies and sent a truck to jumpstart our car. “Our stay at the Tranquility Treehouse in Cheshire Village was splendid and positively restorative! From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely charmed. The home is darling with super comfortable furnishings and the housekeeping was immaculate. The light-filled kitchen was very well stocked so cooking was a pleasure. Having a full sized laundry room was appreciated, too. The primary bedroom had wooded views on all sides along with a sunny bathroom and a delightful claw foot soaking tub. The private back porch, tucked high in the trees with a pair of the world's best rocking chairs, was our spot to start and end the day. Finally, thank you for providing adjacent parking and for being dog friendly! As for the ease of booking, Greybeard Rentals provided exceptionally prompt replies plus five star customer service before/during our stay and their check-in/check-out process was a breeze. Many thanks for making our three day getaway to Black Mountain the highlight of our summer!”
