“It was definitely worth the 10.5h drive. The house was perfect for our family from Ohio, Maryland and North Caroline for a Christmas get away. We enjoyed the sunrise with our coffee whether on the deck or at the boat house. An additional perk was spectacular sunsets. Plenty of space whether we all gathered in the kitchen/great room or downstairs. The kids loved the bunk room and accommodated ages 6-16. Initial supplies were provided which was communicated. If you don’t bring enough the Food Lion is convenient. I wished we would have packed a few dish towels and bath towels but it wasn’t a problem tossing things in the washer/dryer as needed. The heat was not working in the room above the garage but it was communicated prior to arrival and space heaters provided making the area totally functional.”
