“We loved our vacation! Perfect spot. Beach was great- walking distance or tons of parking close by the beach. Pool was great! Only half my family was able to go on this trip so it was perfect to be at a community beach and pool. If we had gotten a house at outer banks (as we have before) with beach access, it would have been too quiet. This resort was friendly but not too crowded at beach or pool. Comfortable, quiet, clean. King sized bed was very comfortable! Extra linens. Kitchen was stocked with what you need. Carpet and kitchen at our unit were outdated but we expected that when we booked and we got a great deal by staying 7 days. Within a mile or two to all the shops and restaurants in Duck. We would absolutely stay again.”

“The resort and condo are great. The condo is spacious with plenty of room, multiple TVs, large deck, and jacuzzi tub. Not sure how the actual room assignments work as the website says units are assigned at check-in, but we ended up on the third floor - great views, but a lot of steps - so pack accordingly! Our room overlooked the outdoor pool, which is quite large, though fairly deep for children (4' - 6.5'), though there is a baby pool as well. The resort hosts various activities next to the pool and there are recreational games there as well. A snack hut for food and drinks is beside the pool as well, on the boardwalk to the beach, which is right on the resort. Overall, we loved the place and our stay. Duck is very walkable as well to nearby shops and restaurants, which is good because traffic gets backed up on the small road through the town. There is also a rec room and indoor pool. Highly recommend staying!”

“I loved staying here & will probably be back!! The photos do not match the spot but provide a reasonable expectation. The unit itself is near the basketball & pickleball court, meaning it’s about as far from the beach as you can be while at Barrier Island Station, BUT there is tons of parking close to the beach entrance and the drive is only about 2 minutes. One of the stand-out things was the pool & beach side bar! They have everything from chicken tenders to espresso martinis. Points off are for cleanliness, lack of fridge & freezer space, and a balcony door that has no lock. The property is gated and we were on the 3rd floor but nobody loves a lockless door. Bonus points for an extremely comfortable king size bed and sunset views. All-in-all, it’s not the Four Seasons but it’s excellent bang-for-your-buck. Thank you, Nikki and Cindy!!”
