“Good for our last minute trip! We decided to come to OBX much later than usual and w just our family of 3 instead of our big group. Options for stay were limited at the last minute. Found this place at a very reasonable rate. The Windjammer itself looked pretty nice- good pool, good beach access, good central location. We liked all of those things. The condo itself was pretty close to photos/ description. But unlike all the other propties, this was a bottom level unit, which we didn't realize at the time of booking. There was no balcony or railing to hang your clothes & towels from which was a real bummer. A drying rack was provided inside. Our family fit well in the bedroom/ living room, but it was a tight squeeze in the kitchen. I would caution staying here with more than 3 ppl unless you're really good w tight quarters/ like them a lot! It was overall decently clean, but could use a good deep scrub in corners and some new carpet. For the price we paid, we were satisfied.”

“We loved our vacation! Perfect spot. Beach was great- walking distance or tons of parking close by the beach. Pool was great! Only half my family was able to go on this trip so it was perfect to be at a community beach and pool. If we had gotten a house at outer banks (as we have before) with beach access, it would have been too quiet. This resort was friendly but not too crowded at beach or pool. Comfortable, quiet, clean. King sized bed was very comfortable! Extra linens. Kitchen was stocked with what you need. Carpet and kitchen at our unit were outdated but we expected that when we booked and we got a great deal by staying 7 days. Within a mile or two to all the shops and restaurants in Duck. We would absolutely stay again.”

“I had a great stay at The Windjammer in Nags Head. The location is hard to beat, I was in town for work and it almost felt like I was on vacation. I was just a short walk to the beach with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and attractions. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed; however the stove did not work which was my only pitfall.”
