“We loved our vacation! Perfect spot. Beach was great- walking distance or tons of parking close by the beach. Pool was great! Only half my family was able to go on this trip so it was perfect to be at a community beach and pool. If we had gotten a house at outer banks (as we have before) with beach access, it would have been too quiet. This resort was friendly but not too crowded at beach or pool. Comfortable, quiet, clean. King sized bed was very comfortable! Extra linens. Kitchen was stocked with what you need. Carpet and kitchen at our unit were outdated but we expected that when we booked and we got a great deal by staying 7 days. Within a mile or two to all the shops and restaurants in Duck. We would absolutely stay again.”

“The location is great, and this unit might be the best location in the complex! Super convenient to both the pool and the beach access. We would recommend but have a few things worth noting. The unit is older but well kept with a good layout. The provided linens and kitchen supplies are bare minimum, which was fine for us but worth noting if you need any special items since you will be at least 30/40 min away from any stores. There is a Dollar General but with it being the only store nearby it was picked bare of some essentials the three different times we stopped by there. The Outer Banks Resort Rentals company is great and super quick with communication. But they are only the booking company. The actual condo unit maintenance company is not as easy to communicate with, only via phone call. They sent a door code for entry but gave no phone number to call if you have issues getting in. We only found contact info for that company once inside so thankfully getting in was smooth.”

“I had a great stay at The Windjammer in Nags Head. The location is hard to beat, I was in town for work and it almost felt like I was on vacation. I was just a short walk to the beach with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and attractions. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed; however the stove did not work which was my only pitfall.”
